Moving to STL
« on: June 13, 2013, 12:35:50 PM »

Moving in with an old buddy of mine that lives in South City right across a street from Carondolet park. I haven't lived in STL since i've been a little kid. How is that area? How far will the rides/bars be from me?

St. Louis is nothing but bars, liquor stores, and pawn shops. Bring your fastest moped, a gun, and lots of bullets and you should make back in one piece. Mounting a shotgun across your handle bars will look awesome!

That area is real nice and quiet. You will be fairly near a fair amount of the Ruffians. Carondelet park is the old IRE weekly ride meatup spot and is fun to take a few laps in when it isnt filled with people. There are a few cool bars relatively close too.

Thanks everybody for the info. I know the house is on Holly Hills Blvd but not much more. I've been to Silver Ballroom a few times and I fucking love the place, any other places you could suggest around my area? Food, drinks, things to do? Thanks again guys

I find any place that gives you a to-go cup (for water of course) with your pitcher of margarita to have the best margaritas in town!

Rad, i'm moving on Saturday the 22nd. My DnD buddies that i'm moving in with are driving out to KC and helping me load all my shit to get it to STL, (GO NERDS! NERDS 4 LYFE!). Ummm, I don't really know the city to well so I'll probably be riding for the first couple of days a lot! If anyone wants to be a tour guide there will probably be lots of beerz involved.
