Haven't posted on here in a long time.
Mazzer sold me his Hobbit a few months back since I've been looking for one and decided to do a full out build on it. Clayton has been putting it together and modifying things to make it work.
The Ped: 1978 Honda Hobbit
Performance
Polini 70cc kit
"Race" crank and new bearings
Malossi clutch springs
Polini 21mm carb
MLM pipe
TJT variator
Vari ramp plate
HPI CDI
Malossi gears
Pretty sure I'm missing a lot as I'm just going off memory.

Cosmetics
Grimeca Mags
Low bars
280mm springs
LED tail light
Dual LED headlights
EBR forks
Stretched (not happening until winter)
Front disc brake (winter)

Again, probably missing stuff that will get filled in as time goes. Pictures to come and Clayton or Mazzer may add some also.

I work all the time and do not have the mechanical skills needed. I can do small stuff, but I trust others more than myself when it comes to a build like this.

weren't getting spark on the stock points, so OP ordered an HPI internal rotor ign. clayton got it all wired up, but still no spark. changed grounds around, still no spark. we found that the spark plug boot wasn't screwed on properly. viola!   bike fired for the first time in what's likely been a few decades

hopefully tonight we'll get the timing set, and start the clutch/vari/carb tuning process

Few of us rode the Ped last night for the first time. Took a while to get it fired like Mazzer said, but once Clayton figured it out, it was screaming. Pretty amped to see it come to life after sitting for a couple decades.
